VaccinateBandera.org is a community-based effort to provide residents of Bandera County with factual, unbiased, science-based information about COVID-19 Vaccines and to provide access to COVID-19 Vaccines.
Medicare will pay a doctor or other care provider to give you the COVID-19 vaccine in your home. Call your doctor and ask if they’re able to give you the COVID-19 vaccine in your home. If they can’t, they might be able to refer you to someone who can do this. You can also call 1-800-MEDICARE for vaccine contacts in your area.
The Atascosa Health Center is a network of clinics in the rural communities of Atascosa, Karnes, Live Oak, McMullen, and Wilson Counties for over 40 years. They are a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and provides services to all. Visit them at atascosahealthcenter.org
The Health Unit has COVID vaccines on a walk-in basis at their Hondo location Mon. -Thurs. 7 am -5:30 pm (closed 12 pm-1 pm). They have locations in Devine and Castroville on Thursdays by appointment at vaccine.medinatx.org or call us at 830-741-6191 to schedule. They love to do home visits. There is no charge for COVID vaccine or home visits.
